Absolute filtration, plus ultraviolet treatment
The MP'OPURE system delivers microbiologically and bacteriologically controlled water to hospital units with a high risk of infection. It allows for the centralisation of treatments that are conventionally integrated under troughs when there are a large number of them. This avoids the need for monthly cartridge changes under each trough. MP'OPURE provides 5μ pre-filtration followed by continuous circulation with UVc radiation and 1 and 0.5μ absolute filtration. An optional over-chlorination system proportional to water consumption can be integrated. To complete this pre-treatment, the water is filtered to 0.2μ via terminal filters installed on our troughs. An automated 50-second purge is programmed 6 hours after the last use to prevent stagnation in the dead arms at the end of the system.

The MP’OPURE water treatment system helps prevent excessive consumption of terminal filters. These filters generate a significant amount of waste that is complex to treat. We recommend using them sparingly and only when necessary.
Pre-filtration & Absolute terminal filtration
After coarse pre-filtration at 5μ, the water entering the circulation loop passes through two absolute filters at 1μ and then 0.5μ. With most of the suspended microorganisms removed, the water in the loop is more effective at absorbing UVc radiation and preserves the 0.2μ terminal filter attached to the troughs over time. The latter filters bacteria and viruses for optimal efficiency.
Ultraviolet radiation treatment
Supplied with water filtered to 0.5μ, UVc treatment offers increased effectiveness against potentially present pathogenic germs. And unlike chlorine or thermal shocks, it does so without altering the physical and chemical properties of the water or generating residual solutions. Microbes, viruses and bacteria are particularly sensitive to ultraviolet light, as are lower plants such as algae, moulds and their spores.
Treatment by over-chlorination (optional)
Thanks to our chlorine dosing pump connected to a water inlet meter at the entrance to the loop, it is possible to inject a proportional dose of chlorine as an option. This pump also allows the doses to be increased manually if necessary.
